Main task:
-supervise the install of all electrical equipments and installation on board of ships in respect of specification, standards and the requirements of classification society and statutory authorities.
- to approve the electrical drawings
-to check that all equipments and materials have the necessary documents of quality according to the standards.
-to assist the test and commissioning of equipments
-to perform the sea trials, etc.
-to verify that the project is according with the specifications in terms of ship owner requirements and international rules regarding safety in exploitation and due corrections after DP(Dynamic Positioning) and FMEA(Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) tests(Sea Trial),compatibility between Shipyard (Samsung) PMS(Power Management System) and Kongsberg Dynamic Positioning System. Regular meetings with the Shipyard's Design Department and daily inspections on board.

15.09.2007 – 15.09.2009 - SeaTec Worldwide Commissioning Engineer
Working as part of the Sea Tec (VShips Group, Glasgow) supervision team - SeaTec Machinery and Electrical Commissioning Engineer for 4 x MPFSV’s ( DP2) at the Batamec Shipyard, Batam, Indonesia, for the construction of 5 x 5,500 bunker tankers at the Shenfei Rongcheng Shipbuilders, China and for the construction of 2x50M Multi-Support vessel (DP1) at the Adyard Shipyard, Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Duties: overseeing the installation of all machinery and electrical systems ensuring that all items comply with the manufacturer’s installation instructions. Once installed in accordance with rules then I had an active role in the pre commissioning checks, commissioning and start up of all systems.
Day by day inspections, tests and trials of all installations, systems and machinery on board of the vessel during construction and at sea trials. I was also responsible to ensure that all necessary operating manuals were handed over to the owner at delivery, in accordance with the Contract.
Regular progress meetings (Punchlist, NCR) with nominated Builder’s staff.

I coordinated daily activities for more than 100 workers, 4 foremen,outfitting,machinery installation, cables layout, cable connections, electrical and automation panels installing, pre commissioning and commissioning according whit project and rules(Oil Tankers, Product Tankers, Chemical Tankers,LPG,Containers).
