> TITLE: Scaling Daily Sales Reporting Data Warehouse with Advance
Technologies
and MicroStrategy.
COMPANY: Self (In-house Project)
DURATION: 90 days
DESCRIPTION: This data warehouse project deals with sales subject area
of a Retail Store.In this project, it is assumed that a large retail
store with a huge data warehouse around 30TB,this data warehouse grows
by daily transactions happening in the stores. This daily data is
loaded into the data warehouse using scheduled ETL jobs. Business
analyst analyzes the Company's profit and Forecast growth using
Business Intelligence or Reporting tools. There might be many numbers
of users using reports generated by BI tool from the data
warehouse.Thus by using advance techniques and implementation of
Microstrategy for Reporting, users can able to run reports quickly for
better analyze, understand, acquire, and retain the most valuable
customers and it's used for companies to re-evaluate their data
warehouse strategies.
TOOLS USED: Oracle 11g, Oracle SQL Developer Data Modeler 3.1 and
MicroStrategy 9.2.1.
> TITLE: Unique ID Management
COMPANY: IBM-The Great Mind Challenge
DURATION: 40 days
DESCRIPTION: The Vision Motive of this project is to provide a unique
ID to each and every citizen of India while providing him/her a birth
certificate. Citizens after attaining age of 18 must register at RTO
office or Collector office or Thasildar office and get a password to
access the site. Once they enter the site they can pay their
electricity bill and telephone bill, book railway tickets and airline
tickets and pay their taxes. During elections people can poll online.
Government officials can verify details about a person from the
database for issuing vehicle license, passport, visa, etc.
ACHIEVEMENTS
> Secured 3rd place in College Semesters with 7.8 GPA during the academic
year 2011-2012.
> Done a CCNA and SQL certified courses from National Small Industries
Corporation.
> Diploma in Foreign Language(ARABIC).
> Secured 1st place in Oratorical Competition on the topic STUDENTS IN
THE ERA OF SOCIAL NETWORKING held at Aalim Mohammed Salegh College Of
Engineering, on 24th September, 2010.
> Secured 2nd place for the power point presentation held at higher
secondary.
> Rendered 240 hours of services in the various NSS projects and classes
at Adarsh Vidhyalaya orphanage school, Vaniyanchavadi in the year 2008-
2009.
> Secured A grade Certification as a NSS member at higher secondary.
> Secured 3rd place in March-Past zonal in the Inter School Sports.
> Won Prizes in Inter School Dance competition, Fashion Show held at
Adarsh
