Project: Database Migration from Clarify Version 8.8 to CRM Thick

Client 8.1

Client: BMW Japan - Tokyo

Duration: 4 months

. Analyze the Database Object to be migrated based on the CRM

components that customer is using

. Create a migration strategy and data mapping document between

Old and New DB

. Write PL/SQL scripts, use of Exp/Imp and other shell scripts to

migrate the baseline and customized database tables, views,

indexes etc.

. Fine tuning and performance monitoring of the scripts to migrate

entire customer database in the given time window

. Develop scripts to resolve data conflicts in the baseline data

of the new and old database version pre migration

. Develop and run reconciliation checks on the new database to

ensure data integrity

Project: Post-Upgrade Production Support

Client: Reliance Communications, Mumbai

Duration: 1 month

. Verify post production CRM Classic Client flows for the new

version 8.1

. Solve Clear Basic customization issues with the latest CRM 8.1

. Provide workarounds and registry settings for memory related

issues on old Windows 98 desktops
