Present Employment:

Working as an Instrumentation Engineer for pre commissioning and

commissioning and designing of refineries in M/S Jitec product

engineering and automation Pvt ltd, 2 X 1000MW Nuclear power plant at

Koodamkulam from April 2012 to till date.

Previous Employment:

Worked as a Control & Instrumentation Engineer for commissioning,

operations and maintenance in M/S Desein pvt Ltd, 2 X 15MW captive

Thermal power plant at Nagpur, Maharashtra from June 2008 to July 2010.

Job Experience:

1. Power, Control and Instrument cable pulling and termination from

instrument end to panel end, loop checking, continuity checks.

2. Preparation of Instrument List & Data Sheets, Instrument Design &

Calculations.

3. Involved in studying P & ID diagram, Instrument Location drawing and

checking the location in site for equipment erection.

4. Installation, Maintenance & calibration of DP level transmitter and

magnetic float transmitter, level, pressure, temperature transmitters

& switches.

5. Installation, Maintenance & troubleshooting of temperature measurement

instruments like RTD, Thermocouple, Thermistor, Bimetal & Capillary

gauge.

6. Installation, Maintenance & troubleshooting of oil flow meter (oval

wheel meter), DP flow meters (under flow elements like orifice,

venture tube, flow nozzle, Anubar tube).

7. Installation, Maintenance & troubleshooting of Pull chord switch and

Belt sway switches used in CHP.

8. Selection of pressure and temperature gauges based on process

requirement. Also their calibration & maintenance.

9. Have led SHUTDOWN ACTIVITIES - Involved in instrumentation

maintenance, maintenance of Boiler, Turbine, DM plant and Ash handling

plant and Coal handling plant.

10. Have performed maintenance and calibration of the field instruments

like pressure switches, Pressure gauges, Level transmitters, Pressure

transmitters, Flow transmitters, Temperature transmitters, RTD,

thermocouple, tuning of Controllers, temperature recorders, Solenoid

Valves & control valve.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Material planning, schedule planning and coordination with Client and

contractor to keep the things moving as per company strategy and to

keep the team in high moral.

2. Direct participation with concerned technical & administrative

authorities for better and smooth management of works.

3. Assist in development of the Commissioning schedule

4. Provide regular updates of progress, area of concern, risks and

opportunities of the commissioning lead.

5. Supervise the team of Instrument Technicians and manage Vendors as

required.

6. Co-ordination with piping/Mech for instrument tapping orientation

/location.

7. Vendor-co-ordination per detailing of input and output (AI/AO/DI/DO)

package.

8. Involved in Erection of CHP instruments like Beltsway switch, pull

chord switch, Zero speed sensor, etc.

9. First priority in safety & precautionary measures.

10. Participating in planning and schedule preparation for C&I activities.

11. Coordinate and witness the field erection activities, maintain

quality records and prepare the punch list for the same.

12. Providing relevant inputs and feedback to the contractor for different

activities to achieve the scheduled completion target.

13. Preparing check list for erection completion protocol and validating

the same during final erection.

14. Loop checking of different field instruments and equipments and

maintaining the calibration record of the same.

15. Coordinating the commissioning of different analytical instruments and

validating the calibration results.
