tenacious about every project I take on. My previous experience has helped
me develop multi-tasking and problem-solving skills; I work well with the
public and in fast-paced environments. Working as an administrative
assistant I gained experience in general office keeping procedures and
equipment. I'm reliable and hardworking, I'm proficient in all Microsoft
office programs, most Mac programs and can type 60 words per minute. I'm a
self-starter, extremely organized and professional.
Computer/ Equipment Skills
I am proficient in Mac programs like Photoshop, iphoto, imovie, idvd,
and final cut pro. Experience with Evolv-CS software (a record management
system), some Raisers Edge, and FileMaker Pro. Exceptional experience in
Microsoft Office programs like Word, PowerPoint, Entourage, Acrobat, Excel,
Outlook.
Work Experience
Optimist Youth Homes and High School, Electronic Records Assistant/
Receptionist June 2012- January 2013
While working in the Quality Improvement department at Optimist; I
managed their records management system Evolv-CS. The Evolv system
maintains client/staff health, benefits, educational information, does
various statistical analysis and reporting, as well as financial functions
like billing. I ran the help desk, which is a portal for users that have
problems with Evolv, I create solutions to the problems and fix them.
Problems range from login troubles to creating new forms as needed. I did
data entry and maintenance for the Evolv system, as well as run and analyze
reports. My other job duties include management of client's physical
charts, auditing for missing forms in charts, and filing.
LA Conservation Corps, Administrative Assistant/Receptionist
September 2011 to March 2012
Working for this Non-profit organization my duties included, writing
reports, receipts, purchase requests, filing, reviewing files, data entry,
screening and transferring phone calls, scheduling/ catering meetings,
documentation of meetings, travel arrangements, event coordination,
teleconference call set up, mail processing, out-going mailings,
appointment scheduling, office supply ordering and management, assisting
program manager and senior program director, and other general office
keeping procedures.
While at the LA Conservation Corps I was assigned the task of recovering
$1.5 million lost revenue from expired contracts. Through meeting with
customers and having them re-sign up for the program I was able to recover
$1 million for the company.

While working as a gallery preperator for the Williamson Gallery my
responsibilities included prepping gallery walls, painting, measuring,
installing art works, making labels for the art works, and general clean
up.

While working as a part-time accounting assistant my responsibilities
included office supply orders, sorting mail, answering phones, filing
papers, event planning, and making receipts/invoices. Assistant to accounts
