MAIN Project
Title : Study of manufacturing process of Turbo Generator
Place of project : Bharath Heavy Electricals Limited, Hyderabad
Role : Team Leader.
Team Size : 5
In our project we have made a detailed study of MANUFACTURING PROCESS OF
LARGE CAPACITY TURBO GENERATORS UPTO 260MW. This system is employed by
B.H.E.L. A turbine directly connected to an electric generator for the
generation of electric power. We observed the process of manufacturing
different parts of generator like stator, rotor, coils, exciter and
bearings including testing of those parts at several stages of
manufacturing and insulation.

Role : Team Leader.

In this project we observed the " HYDRO POWER PLANT (4X9 MW)" at Sriram
Sagar Project pochampad, covers the various equipments such as generators,
servo motor, excitation system, control system, governing system,
protection system, Transformers and basic elements of transmission system
(11/132kv).
ACHIEVEMENTS

electricity" held at AKRG College of engineering and technology,
Nallajerla.
> Participated in National level Paper presentation on "organic light
emitting diode" held at GIET College of engineering and technology,
Rajahmundry.
> Participated in National level Paper presentation held at BIET
College of engineering and technology, pennada.
