• Developed all ADA’s Online Content to follow the 1998 Rehabilitation Act, to comply with
Section 508, taking into consideration, not only people with diabetes but all disabled
individuals visiting the ADA’s Web site.

Provided support to the internal customers with content updates to the pertaining content area of
the Web site.
• Worked with the management team during 3 main diabetes.org re-design projects. Negotiated
with a myriad of ADA’s departments and stakeholders.
• Redesigned the online promotions of Diabetes Forecast Magazine with embedded forms to
increase subscribers, resulting in an increase of sales to approximately 30% in the first month.
• Lowered phone inquiries by 70% by creating a mini site for state health insurance coverage and state
driver’s license requirement by collaborating with over 12 local state advocacy directors to update
information.
Manager, Online Services 1999 – 2004
Served as the only Web liaison between 3 departments: Government Relations and Advocacy,
Publications and Membership; managed the daily operations of updating 102 local Web pages,
creating accurate, consistent and timely reports.
• Served as project team leader for Web content in areas of ADA’s online publications, Diabetes
Forecast, Diabetes Care, and the Professional Membership.
• Managed over 200 local area offices’ websites to ensure consistency, standardization, and clarity.
• Preformed daily training and consultation to local staff on how to utilize Fatwire (content
management system) in managing content on diabetes.org.
