PROJECT DETAILS

Name of the project : Automatic patient monitoring system for hospital

Team Size : 4 Members

Project Description : The project consists of a transmitter for each of

the patients and a single receiver in the doctor's monitoring room. The

patient circuit consists of sensor unit consisting of appropriate sensors,

signal processing units and a transmitter. Sensor will sense the parameter

and will send the signal to the instrumentation amplifier for

amplification. The amplified output is then passed through a band pass

filter to filter out the unwanted frequencies. The modulator using the

carrier signal generated by the carrier generator then modulates the

signal. VHF transmitter with help of the antenna then transmits modulated

signal. On the doctors end the receiving antenna is common for all the

transmitted signals. The received signal is amplified by the pre-amplifier

and the amplified signal is then filtered by band pass filter. The received

signal contains information of various patients which has to be separated.

This can be achieved by using narrow band receiver in conjunction with the

de-multiplexer since carrier frequency for each patient's transmitter is

unique. The de-multiplexed signal is then amplified using an amplifier;

this signal is displayed on LCD display it is kept in doctor's room then

The doctor can analyze the displayed data and if he sees an alarming sign

in the displaying he can immediately reach the patient and take the

appropriate action, Its helpfully in times of emergency, Used in those

hospitals where the number of specialized doctors are limited.

Name of the project : Data Migration

Technology / Language : PL/SQL

Project Description : The project is about migrating data from legacy

system to Oracle. The data is exported from the legacy system as a flat

file. The flat file is then loaded into an Oracle (interface) table having

the same structure as a flat file, by using the SQL*Loader utility. The

interface program has to read the interface table record by record, perform

necessary validation/data cleansing and migrate the records into the actual

Oracle (destination) table. Those records that fail validation are rejected

and corresponding errors are logged in an Error Log Table.
