load steps for the shipping industry to parts trays for the auto industry.

Design and engineer parts from information provided by customers to assist

with quoting and for production. Design thermoform molds, fixtures and

dies for production. Responsible for handling multiple overlapping

projects.

THULE, INC., Franklin Park, IL

1999 to 2010

Worldwide leader in the development and manufacturing of automotive load

carrier systems. Thule's product lines feature car top cargo boxes, multi-

purpose roof racks, rear mount racks and accessories for transporting

outdoor recreational equipment including bikes, skis, snowboards, kayaks

and canoes.

Responsible for the design, engineering and development of Thule's

thermoformed cargo box category for the North American market. Manage all

project phases from concept through production.

. Implemented seven new box lines in addition to numerous OEM and private

label designs, including the Sears X-Cargo Sport 20, the best selling

cartop box in North America for the past 11 years.

. Key member of manufacturing team which selected, customized and

installed a new $1 million state-of-the-art thermoforming machine which

. Responsible for structuring bills of material, engineering changes and

ISO documentation.

. Work with toolmakers to implement special mold features and improve

versatility of tooling.

. Integrate various new products into production and provide support

throughout product life.

. Work with Thule's global product development team to integrate new

of products for SCUBAPRO, a premier global manufacturer of scuba diving

'AIR 3' regulator.

. Brought to market and received patent for anti-icing feature on the
