Developed a custom application that enables the company to keep track of their services at various clinics. Depending on the kind of service provided the application keeps track of the commission generated and creates quarterly invoices for the clinics. It also keeps track of the revenue generated by each employee.
Technical Information: The project was developed using ASP.NET and SQL Server as its database. ASP.NET web pages were designed and developed using Server side controls. Business rules were implemented in using Validators controls. Stored Procedures, Views and Triggers were used in the backend to get the required results. Datagrids were used to display results.

Developed a core business system for a pool manufacturing company utilizing Microsoft SQL Server 2008 and .NET. The system takes orders and calculates the pools liner dimensions and sends the specs off to the liner manufacturer to create. Purchase orders and Sales orders are automatically sent to Microsoft Dynamics. Also developed an application that would allow viewing of archived orders from a legacy system.
Technical Information: An intranet application having several web pages, which included Login page, Search pages, Edit pages are designed and developed using C# and ASP.NET. Several Stored Procedures, triggers, views were developed to accomplish the various functionalities. ADO.NET was used to bridge the business layer and the data layer. Made use of datagrid’s to display the wanted results. Any insert, update or delete tasks were configured using SQL commands. Stored procedures were used to return data from the dataset for search functionalities. User interfaces were designed using ASP.NET server side controls and customized using Event handlers.
Hotline Computers – India 3/2004 – 4/2005

Worked on various state government projects related to Senses, Population, Poverty metrics, etc. I have developed front end GUI, data entry pages using JSP and ASP.NET. I used SQL server as the back end data base. I have written store procedures, Scalar and in-line functions, and triggers as needed.
ACADEMIC PROJECTS
Class Scheduling System
As part of the Applied Database Course, designed and developed a class scheduling system using .NET and Oracle. The implementation uses a database with all the student and course records where students can look at all the courses offered/time clashes with other courses/his class grades etc. Professor can assign grades/check student details in his class etc.
Photo Map
As part of System Integration course, developed an App to search Flickr website for photos near a zip code using the user search term. Search results are displayed on Google maps at the picture geo tagged location, zoom in/out can be used to navigate, the picture and its details will be displayed when image thumbnail is clicked. Used Flickr web service API and Google maps web service, integrated with OpenID API to authenticate user via Google, Yahoo account credentials. User search preferences and the search history will be stored in the database and user password is encrypted. I used Java, JSP, Servlets, Google Maps, Flickr web service, OpenID API, MySQL
Data Warehouse
As part of Data Warehousing Course, designed and developed a Data Warehouse using Microsoft BI (SSIS, SSAS) and Power Pivot for reporting. The users can analyze sales volume and revenue with respect to Time, Product, Region, Customer. Extracted data from text files using SSIS into SQL Server, built a sales cube using SSAS and the report was built in Power Pivot.
Shortest Path and Trip
As a part of Algorithms and Data Structures course, implemented Dijkstra’s algorithm to find the shortest path from single source to destination using Java.
KDD Project
As a part of Knowledge Discovery in Database course, Extracted association rules using Apriori algorithm, Rough Set Exploration System (RSES), Java Swing for UI
Analyzing Social Networks
As part of the Web mining course, we visualized the Social Networks data for Wikipedia, “Administrator elections and vote history data”, using the NodeXL tool. We used NodeXLs in built functions to find the most popular node, we also constructed clusters to find relations between most popular node vs. least popular nodes, etc. We have written a program in Java to verify the most popular node from NodeXL.
Visual Analytics
As part of Visual Analytics course, I analyzed a banks network status changes that have taken place during a 3 day period. The data was loaded into SQL server using SSIS and then analyzed using Tableau for visualization
