Duties: Manage the day-to-day operations for the New York and New Jersey
Metropolitan District office. Supervise and lead a team consisting of 7
work groups. Purchase supplies for the work groups in the New York and New
Jersey Metropolitan District office. Monitor and evaluated the usage of
supplies, equipment, fuel reports, expenses and tolls. Perform audits and
QA inspections for all Port Authority Facility underground utility locates.
Administered all testing for various safety programs and evaluations of

equipment. Be conscious of revenue production for each work group.
Improve revenue production, operational safety and efficiency for all work
groups. Administer discipline as needed and terminate employees when

include reviewing of all paperwork required, call backs and interviewing.
Supervise the training for all new hires and monitor orientation
procedures. Conduct operational reviews and employee performance
appraisals. Increased productivity by 50% decreased unexcused absences by
50% and increased revenue by 50%. Manage mapping projects for various
engineering clients. Manage the Translore Ticket Management System for NY
& NJ Port Authority underground utility locates. Provide technical advice
to subordinates and general staff pertaining to mapping and underground
utility locates. Provide Senior Crew Chiefs and Crew Chiefs with the tools
and information they need to successfully manage their work groups.
Reassign and shift workloads as needed. Monitor work flow and completion of
work assignments for each crew. Ensure contractual obligations are met.
Support the defined company direction. Assist the Vice President with
damage claims. Ensure that the district office was in compliance with the
employee manual. Ensure all employees were in compliance with OSHA Safety
regulations and API Safety procedures. Process and schedule all paperwork
for Port Authority Facility I.D. Badges, TWIC, SIDA and AOA recertification
testing. Maintain and update data base for security clearances for access
to all bridges, tunnels, marine seaports and major airports (EWR, JFK and
LGA) in the tri-state area.

necessary adjustments to improve areas that would possibly create a loss.
Ensure that all safety issues were handled properly and implemented in a

to day operations. Ensure that weekly safety meetings were in accordance
with mandated policies and procedures. Perform random safety site
inspections throughout the North Jersey Region to ensure that all safety
