> Working as Engineer- Instrumentation in Cethar Energy LTD, Chennai
from Dec 2nd 2011 to present.
. 2 135 MW at Korba,Chattisgargh for our client Vandhana Vidyut
Ltd.
> Worked as Instrumentation Engineer in Enmas O&M Servises (P) LTD from
25th July 2010 to 20th Novenber 2011.
. 1 32 MW CPP at Hospet,Karnataka for our client Star Mettalics
Power Plant (P) Ltd.
Roles and Responsibility:
. Maintenance of all Controls & Instrumentation Systems including
the DCS, SCADA, HP/LP Bypass, Governing System, Control
Stations, SWAS, Stack Monitoring System, etc. and all other
Instrumentation related to Boilers, Turbines, Auxiliaries, etc.
. Replacement of channels and Relay module, Troubleshooting &
Programming of PLCs.
. Replacement of channels & I/O cards, Troubleshooting &
Programming of DCS.
. Taking care of the Spares & Consumables planning, inspection,
prudent usage and ensuring optimization of the Inventory Costs.
. Implementing Management Plans for improvement in the Plant
performance.
. Ensuring defects and breakdown maintenance works registered in
PM Module by Operation.
. Planning all Maintenance Activities and submits of MIS on time.
. Maintaining all records of the validity of the calibration
certifications of all Instrumentation in the Plant.

. PLC : ABB & Allen Bradley
Exposure in Field Systems and Engineering:
. Handling Pneumatic and Hydraulic systems.
. Erection, commissioning and Maintenance of Pressure, Flow,
Level, Temperature Transmitters & Switches and their trouble
shooting & maintenance handled in Emerson, Yokogawa, ABB,
Switzer Instruments.
. Erection, commissioning and Maintenance of On/Off Power
cylinders, regulating power cylinders, Air operated control
valves, motor operating valves and their position transmitters,
I/P converters handled in Siemens, Rotex, Forbes Marshall, ABB,
MIL Controls and Instrumentation Ltd.
. Analyzers:-Oxygen, SPM, SOX, NOX and CO handled in Forbes
Marshall, ABB, YOKOGAWA.
. Erection & Commissioning of Motor control centers, Control
panels, Power distribution boards, Drives.
. Commissioning of plant communication system i.e., Public Address
system Networking of Profibus, RS485. Commissioning MODBUS
protocols & Ethernet.
. Reading of P&IDs, Preparing instrument list as per P&IDs,
preparing I/O allocation on controllers, cable schedule
preparation and termination detail preparing.
. Project schedule preparation covers engineering, procuring,
erection, commissioning and handing over the system to customer.
. Knowledge to operate Thermal power plants in CFBC mode.
