I. B-TECH MAIN PROJECT

Name of the project: VLSI DESIGN OF RISC MICROCONTROLLER

Description

In this project a microcontroller core is developed in an FPGA.

Its instruction set is compatible with the microcontroller PIC16XX series by

Microchip Technology. The microcontroller employs RISC architecture with

separate buses for instructions and data.

Based on the modern design methods the microcontroller core is developed

using the Verilog hardware description language.

II. B-TEH MINI PROJECT

Name of the project: DIGITAL IC TESTER

Description

Used to check the functionality of 74xx series IC’s.

It uses a microcontroller (PIC 16F877A), display unit & a keypad.

Inexpensive and small size.

ACADEMIC PAPER PRESENTATION

Topic: FLEXIBLE ELECTRONIIC DISPLAY

Emerging flexible display technologies promises to build on previous

advances adding visual quality, durability, energy efficiency and above all

flexibility to next generation of display.

Flexible displays are based on OLEDs (Organic Light Emitting Diodes).

Within an OLED device light is created in the same way light is created in a

normal LED.

Applications for such flexible displays are numerous extending from home

use, roll up televisions or military applications such as an arm mounted

display.
