TITLE: PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS OF GMPLS ENABLED
AUTOMATICALLY SWITCHED OPTICAL NETWORKS
DESCRIPTION: I have chosen the field of Optical Networks in which the focus is mainly on
Generalized Multi Protocol Label Switching (GMPLS). GMPLS is concerned with the merging
of the control plane that can be applied to any Application Technologies. It simplifies a cross
optical core by providing a unified view of the Transport and Routing Networks. This helps in
routing the packets with the Link State Advertisements (LSA) from the source to the destination
avoiding traffic in many applications for example in my project I used Voice Application. The
project was successful under the guidance of my guide T. Sundararajan. My projects outcome
paved a way for the LSA packets to be sent in a secure way from the source to the destination
through the unsecured medium.

TITLE: AUTOMATIC SPEED CONTROL AND OBSTACLE DETECTION IN
VECHICLES USING WIRELESS COMMUNICATION
DESCRIPTION: My aim of the project was to focus on the speed of vehicles in traffic
and zonal areas and to detect the obstacles in front of vehicles during night travel using
ultrasonic. The transmitter will be fixed in the signboards and the receiver will be fixed in
all the vehicles. When the vehicle reaches the zonal areas or in heavy traffic, its speed
will be reduced automatically and similarly during night travel when there is any obstacle
on the road the ultrasonic senses the object and indicates the existence of an object on the
road. My project outcome paved a way for public safety so that most of the accidents are
avoided.
ACHEIVEMENTS:
Participated in IEEE International Conference and published my paper “LSP
BLOCKING RATE PERFORMANCE ANALYS OF LINK STATE UPDATE
POLICIES FOR GMPLS ENABLED OPTICAL NETWORKS” in IEEE Digital
Xplorer.
Participated in National Conference on Emerging Trends in Information and
Communication Technologies in SRM UNIVERSITY
Won best project award for Project Presentation in Vels Srinivasa college
