Quality Engineer – Provide quality engineering support at a tier one automotive supplier that

manufactures and assembles injection molded parts. Responsible for preventing and closing

internal and global warranty issues while meeting customer deadlines. Apply 8D root cause

analysis, fishbone diagram, 5 why, and 5W2H tools for problem solving. Demonstrate

knowledge of control plans, PFEMA, work instructions, and process flows. Develop quality

alerts and one point lessons while containing non-conforming parts. Investigate rejects and

returns to continuously improve process and minimize warranty costs. Maintain documentation

LED outdoor lighting in a LEAN environment. Assured the results were acceptable and within

tolerances. Proved process was stable and capable of producing a quality part to prevent a loss in

problem solving analysis to identify and resolve issues. Applied troubleshooting skills when

assembly cells were down. Inspected light fixtures. Checked parts on quality hold, and
