PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

• Lead & manage all business units engineering, supply chain/logistics, production, planning & technical departments and all respective projects in different continents of the world.
• Report and provide business strategic directions and consultancy to CEO, COO and Director of Sales, who are also the shareholders of the company.
• Generate global manufacturing capacity expansion and start-up proposals, conduct feasibility studies, and communicate all requirements and execution plan to all levels (internally and externally).
• Construct a supply chain model to effectively link and network internal and external raw materials suppliers, manufacturing facilities and customers together. Improve the flow and lead time of supply chain within the vertical integrated company.

Industrial Engineering Manager, Furniture Origins, Shandong & Guangdong, China, 2007 – 2011
• Established & lead Industrial Engineering Department for the company. Oversee and manage all engineering projects for 2 factory sites with a total of 11 workshops (individual production plants & warehouses -20K sq. meters each) & 3,000 workers.
• Recruited, trained, supervised and developed all IEs/sales planning team members as required for the expansion of engineering projects and company’s business.
• Developed feasibility studies and gave full planning & execution supports of new factories’ start-up in China and Caribbean.
• Responsible for the start-up of three new factory sites, including capital expense budgeting, production floor layout design, utilities set-up planning, machineries & equipment sourcing and purchasing, automated assembly & finishing lines implementation and labor planning.
• Developed a min/max buffer inventory stock model and system to control and reduce warehouse inventory level – the ultimate goals were to improve company’s cash flow, reduce warehouse inventories/carrying costs and ensure a smoother sales & production planning process.
