Spring 2008-current. Adjunct Instructor for the Nursing program. Ivy Tech Community
College. Bloomington, Indiana. I have inst ructed both ASN and LPN students in the
hospital and long term care settings. Responsible for reviewing student skills in practice,
g rading care plans, and creating lessons to fur ther the learning process on the clinical unit.
January 2004-April 2013 . Progressive Cardiac Care RN. St. Francis Hospital.
I ndianapolis, Indiana. Primary care of 3-4 patients on a progressive cardiac unit. At t imes
required to staff critical care, surgical progressive care, and intensive care. In addition to
performing patient care I have mentored new employees, been shadowed by potential
n ursing students, and function as charge nurse at least monthly.

evening shift supervisor. In addition to patient care I mentored new employees, participated
i n the hi ring of new employees, created and managed a schedule of 30 employees, and
performed other managerial tasks as required.

Annually I volunteer one evening for the Kappa Delta Phi sorority at the fish booth at the
Monroe County fair to raise money for many of the health charities in Bloomington ( COTA,
C risis Pregnancy, etc.). I also donate my time to nursing students by holding review
sessions for exams.
