Houston Corporate Office. Marine Systems Analyst, IT Business

Systems in Helix Energy Solutions Group from October 2011 till

March 2012. In charge of NS-5 related applications and operations

with offshore units and vessels owned by the company. Global

research and developments on software and operations for the clients

and end users related to NS-5. Acquired experience working in

Oracle and MySQL applications as required for job related to NS5

software development. W orked on Discoverer and SharePoint

software applications for job related matters.

Duties also included maintenance and repair, purchasing, damage

surveys, as well as, effect regulatory inspections and special surv eys

involved in the purchase and sale of vessels f or client companies,

both steam and diesel power plants, testing and documentation of

equipment to ensure compliance with USCG and f oreign regulatory

agencies, on both USA flag and f oreign flag tankers and dry cargo

vessels.

supervision of vessels with long dry dock periods.

Have been working since 28th October 2007 till 20th May 2009 and

managing 3 nos Aframax crude oil tankers,VLCC’s, Product/

Chemical tankers while in WSM Hongkong. encompassing repairs,

maintenance and drydocking, all budgetary matters, spare parts and

cost control.

SEA GOING PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE :

2006 to 2007: W allem Shipmanagement Ltd. Hongkong

Joined the company as Chief Engineer and sailed for three tenures

on rotation basis in the Chemical/Product tanker M.T. Scarlet Ibis for

a total sailing time of about 12 months.As Chief Engineer carried out

Dry Docking and yard repairs on this vessel on Framo Submersible

pumps in Cargo Tanks. During the tenure was involved in life saving

operation of 150 people onboard Argentine Navy vessel Almarante

Irizar which had caught fire and who were in water at freezing

temperatures off the coast of Chile.

2005 to 2006: Tanker Pacific Singapore

Sailed as Chief Engineer on Product/ Oil tankers in this company.

2000 to 2005 Mitsui OSK Lines Singapore

Sailed as First Assistant Engineer and Chief Engineer on board

Cape Size Bulk carriers, Pitch /Asphalt Carriers, Combination

Carriers and Chemical Tankers. Carried out Dry Docking and repairs

on board 5 vessels as Chief Engineer.

1994 to 2000 Barbers International Shipmanagement, Kuala Lumpur -Malaysia

Sailed as First Assistant Engineer on board, Cape Size Bulk

Carriers, Parcel Chemical Tankers, W ood Chip Self Unloaders. Was

involved with Drydocking and yard repairs in six occasions.Taken

delivery of a Woodchip Self unloader vessel from Japanese

Shipyard.

1988 to 1994: India Steamship Co. Ltd. Calcutta -India

Commenced career as Marine Engineer in this company as 5th and

after obtaining license was promoted to 2nd Engineer on Feb 1992.

During the tenure in this company, mostly worked on General Cargo

Vessels with hydraulic derricks and Geared Bulk carriers with Bucket

Grabs and Electro Hydraulic Cranes .
