Responsibilities: As a General Superintendent my responsibilities were as follows.
I ordered all materials not provided by Siemens for the replacement of the chain and
flight systems. Since the sedimentation basins were built in various design phases, it
was my responsibility to locate and design a fix for any variations from the Siemens
provided drawings. I was also responsible for maintaining a crew of 16 employees. I
worked closely with Plant personnel and management to accommodate a “in service”
waste water plant. Supplied all as-built information to our design engineers.
2011 to 2012 J.R. Filanc – Escondido, California
Position: Piping Engineer/ Pipefitter Foreman
Responsibilities: Review drawings, order materials, submittals, RFIs, and Quality
Control. On top of those responsibilities, I was responsible for maintaining a small
crew. This includes installation of piping while maintaining a solid safety culture.

Position: General Superintendant
Responsibilities: Coordinated and directed all daily project construction
activities, project staff, and subcontractors. Develop, maintain, track and
update project budget and schedule, while ensuring delivery of a quality
product exceeding customer expectations. Locate, write, and negotiate with
the owner any potential changes to the contract work. Did take offs, got
quotes, and ordered all materials needed to stay (or accelerate) on the
construction schedule. Wrote RFI's as well as coordinated the submittal
process. Established high team morale, providied a safe, enjoyable and
efficient work environment while achieving project profitability. Also acted
as the E.E.O. officer.
