Title : CALLING LINE IDENTIFICATION BY USING LABVIEW

Description : Electronic device which is used more frequently in our daily life in

mobile/cell phone each and every cell Phone is provided with a mobile identity

number (MIN) and Calling identification,also known as Caller ID it does have numerous

advantages for both home and cellular phones. Earlier this is a value added services

costing more, now it is included in the cost of basic phone service

The telephone company “CALLER ID” service provides the calling party directory

information as well as the time and date of the call as an FSK (frequency shifting key) signal

between the first and second rings of a telephone call.

By using LABVIEW we can analyze or decode by using different programming structures,

sub VIs and audio processing . For recording into the system we use Another software

Audacity (free software cross platform digital audio editor and recording application )This

project develops a complete Caller id decoder that analyzes an audios recording of the

FSK signal to extract the directory and date information for display.

At the end of this project a complete CALLER ID Decoder application is implemented in

LABVIEW
