Personal Statement: As a professional educator, I have had to be versatile, yet a specialist in all domains in
which I am qualified to teach. I must communicate accurately, cogently, and compellingly. I must be
intrinsically motivated so as to excel in independent work; yet I must be able to collaborate with others, in
order to accomplish the objectives of the organization. I must be skillful in time management, ready to work
perseveringly, that tasks be completed with precision and according to prescribed deadlines. As an educator, I
have a unique advantage over many: I have the knowledge of various theories of learning. Therefore, I am
skilled in instructing-- yet equally skilled in being instructed. With musical intelligence also, I possess keen
listening skills. I know how to grasp the vision of an organization, and implement those procedures that will
promote its growth and ultimate success. All professions are rooted in the domain of instruction and
education. Without education, a society becomes backward and unproductive. The educator who has a
unique skills set, therefore, can go into diverse domains of the human enterprise and succeed when others
might not. I bring this unique skills set to any organization that is ready to communicate and discover my
rare abilities; I also bring to it my multi-faceted professional experience to promote progress and success.
