Customer Service Administrative Assistant

My name is Gay Lynn Davenport and I am so excited about this Administrative Assistant position. I have all the qualifying factors for this job. I have been an administrative assistant for two department managers, as well as years of customer service experience. I am currently a Draperies Consultant for JC Penney’s located in South Austin. In this role customer service is my top priority whether it be on the telephone or face to face contact. My clientele are made up of many of the same people I will meet in this administrative assistant role. I am comfortable with being able to deliver and often exceed the expectations of my customers which is a great expectation to carry with me in any future role.

As far as direct experience, you will observe that the majority of my work experience has been in office environments. Each of these positions has had their own unique character but there are common elements which allowed me to improve my skills in customer service and task management. I am at ease with environments where confidentiality and a strict adherence to rules and regulations and accurate data entry are required. Additionally, several of my employment situations have had governmental audits as a part of their job requirements. In each case no deficiencies were found in my area of responsibility. From a skills perspective I am proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
