Face Identification
Implemented a computer based face recognition system using MATLAB that checks for an input image to a human face image and further checks for its match in
the existing database
Using an algorithm based on the concepts of PCA and LDA, the user interface scans for its match in the database
Satisfactory results were obtained even with intentional disguises
RFID Mobile Smart Pallet Design, funded by Kodak
Designed an antenna mounted pallet for continuous tracking of assets to prevent theft
Antenna designs were performed using Ansoft software simulator to achieve the desired antenna parameters for RFID range
Active Car Suspension System
Designed an active car suspension system to ensure a quality ride
Modeled an active car suspension system, design of classical PID controller and state feedback controller using MATLAB and SIMULINK
The modeling of the car suspension system was done using the modern state space technique
A state-feedback controller was designed using modern control theory approach and results were found to be satisfactory compared to classical approach
Automated liquid dispenser control
Previously controlled using customized control systems, the aim here was to make the liquid dispenser controlled for a specific application.
The movement of the gantry(dispenser head) was controlled precisely using step motors, drivers and Allen Bradley ControlLogix PLC
Developed a Human machine interface using FactoryTalk View in order to facilitate the usage of the liquid dispenser by a machine operator
