receptionist

My name is Zlatitsa Kaneva Teneva,I have almost * years work experience in the area of tourism and to be more precise at the area of front office -in the beginning I have started in "Vereya" hotel,Stara Zagora,Bulgaria,as far as you know it is situated just in the downtown and it is the most preferred hotel by the foreigners,so it is impossible to work there as a receptionist without knowing english ,because during my time there i have worked with guests from Poland,Czech Republic,Slovenia and the only way to understand each other was of course through english language.Let's try to be more convincing in my words,my experience in City hotel,Stara Zagora is the living proof of what I am trying to show -my good knowledge in this language-english,almost 80 per cent of our guests were foreigners from Great Britain ,Italy,France,Germany and all of them spoke english ,so you can not learn some words by heart and to say that you can understand in any time the complaints by guests which sometimes flooded our reception,you should know this language very very well,because if you don't,you just lose the connection with them you are just useless,you can not rely on the manager to call him anytime to translate you something or to speak with guests instead of you,this is receptionist's work not his;I have graduated university of Shumen-English philology this year 2011,my hometown is Stara Zagora and I still live there,at high school my second language was German ,I know italian and I had the opportunity to use it in my work,I have worked in "Armira" Spa hotel.I love my job even though I know it is rather difficult to work with people,but i admit it just as a good challenge to show what you know and to learn what you don't .
