Mobile Software and Hardware Test Engineer. (OCTOBER’10 – Present)

Motorola Mobility Solutions,

RSD Server Maintenance: Provide complete test case scenarios, test plans for internal server functioning/maintenance, mobile software/hardware and report debugging issues along with analyzing UI for software upgrade clients.

Tools Maintenance: Worked on development and debugging tools used for end to end client device software update like Motorola Software Update (MSU), Motorola Media Link (MML), Web Service Request Tools etc.

ODM/OEM device Management: Worked on implementing Motorola boot loader on FIH boot loader supporting MTK, Qualcomm Chipsets-Domino Q/P, Grant.

1. Computer Networks (Feb-11)

• Worked on CISCO routers (2600, 7200), using CentOS and Network Protocol Analyzers to successfully create the traffic server and client.

• Evaluating the performance of the Ethernet, managing Forwarding Loops and Transparent Bridges.

• Static Routing-Manually implemented routing tables for creating routing loops in a small network apart from setting up a LINUX workstation with more than two interfaces as an IP router.

• Dynamic Routing-Implemented RIP protocol on CISCO routers, Linux-based routers and learned about OSPF configuration.

2. NETWORK SECURITY-Cracking the Wired Equivalent Protocol (WEP) (Oct-10)

Successfully sniffed and recovered the WEP equivalent key in IEEE 802.11 wireless network. Tools used are Linux OS Ubuntu-Kismet/Airsnort, 802.11 b/g wireless card.

3. DIGITAL COMMUNICATION-Simulation of data communication system. (Sep-10)

Implementing the Huffman coding and encoding in MATLAB along with source encoding, channel encoding, source decoding and channel decoding.

4. VLSI IMPLEMENTATION-Transmission and reception of data bits on FPGA. (Sept-09)

Simulation of transmission and reception of data bits in asynchronous mode on FPGA Spartan 3E kit using VHDL language.
