Department head for laboratory support staff for flexible packaging company; managing Quality Assurance activities for incoming and final production inspection; implementation of Sanitation and GMP programs; regulatory reporting for EHS to EPA and OSHA standards; handling customer complaints, and customer/production interface. Lab testing includes tensile strength testing, GC solvent retention and graphics. I am the ISO Management Representative responsible for conducting and/or coordinating scheduled ISO audits, maintaining ISO compliance, coordinating plant-wide training for various initiatives including launch of SAGE (ERP platform) and housekeeping. ACHEVEMENTS:
I reduced customer complaints at key accounts by 47% the first year through the implementation of LSS Blackbelt program. Additional project have included reduction of static complaints in packing products for P&G by 68% through LSS techniques. I successfully lead the facility through its first GMP audit with a comprehensive score of 98.75%. The LSS projects I currently manage exceed $800K in annualized savings.
2000 – 03/2007 Senior Facility Technical Manager

Department head for laboratory support staff at company’s largest production facility. Responsibilities included managing Quality Assurance activities for incoming and final production inspection, as well as manager facility microbiological lab. Other activities included data entry with resource management database (ERP platform), customer support for technical documentation and coordination with Regulatory, handling customer complaints, and customer/production interface; First Article release, NPIT and FMEA tracking. Lab testing included microbiological assay and HPC analysis of products. I served as ISO Management Representative responsible for conducting and/or coordinating scheduled ISO audits, maintaining ISO compliance and CAPA. I was trained as LSS Champion and as a Greenbelt for Blue Ash facility in Project Management by the George Group.
ACHIEVEMENTS:
I reduced product rejects by 72%, while reorganizing laboratory staff to accommodate 60% reduction in census. Championed reductions in production waste to achieve corporate targets. In 2006, I championed two Kaizens and one Greenbelt project yielding over $200K in annualized savings.
