Department responsibilities included multiple statewide redundant fiber rings, telephony bandwith allocation, inside plant, floor design and layout, building requirements including power, back-up power, switching and interconnects for 32 systems. Conducted quality control inspections of plant construction and verified all plant built to company design specifications.
