Project Manager, Process Improvement 2010 - 2011
Project manager of the Ateb process improvement initiative. Scope included identification, implementation, and improvement of sales flow, software development and information technology processes supporting Ateb product offerings in the brand/generic drug space, including clinical trial recruitment and prescription drug compliance campaign activities.
Recent projects include:
• Development and deployment of an enterprise change management process.
• Completed Six Sigma self study/tutorial.
• Implementation of a Health Information and Portability Act (HIPPA/HITECH ) compliant data access validation process
• Sourcing/acquisition of a workflow process automation tool.

Lowe's - Mooresville, NC 2007 - 2008
Solution Delivery Manager -
Project management of resources (on and off-shore) performing application enhancement, development, integration, quality control and customer care for enterprise/global financial applications within Lowe's. The application suite included PeopleSoft (U.S. & Canada) and Oracle financials (Mexico). Projects, managed and tracked utilizing the Lowe’s PMO guidelines included sourcing, acquisition and subsequent customization of a financial information consolidation tool, creation of resource management and tracking processes as a prelude to installation of Microsoft project server and finally management of an upgrade to the PeopleSoft financial applications. Completed PMI preparation training April 2008.

Manager, Enterprise Systems -
Manage client expectations and the enhancement, development, quality and support of enterprise applications including the PeopleSoft (Oracle) Human Capital and Remedy IT Service Management product suites. Identify, develop and implement process improvement areas i.e. change request valuation, automation of change management via Remedy, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance monitoring and measurement of critical application operational metrics. My team utilized a number of technologies including java, .net, Linux, Oracle and SQL Server. Initiatives included creation of product roadmaps, an upgrade of the PeopleSoft HR application and the evaluation, selection and implementation of an ITIL based IT Services Management SaaS (Software as a Service) offering.

Management and support of the development and delivery of quality, standards-based custom software applications in support of core business functions (indoor-outdoor wireless/cell towers) utilizing a flexible SDLC. Responsible for custom business application content, features and development. Other areas of focus included technical product support, quality assurance and project management. The technical development environment was Microsoft based and we utilized the Mercury test suite. Supporting applications included JDEdward One World, Computer Associates Service Management (service desk, asset management) and Ultimus Business Process Management application.
IBM, RTP, NC 1996 - 2000
Product/Project Manager 1999 - 2000
Served as the primary interface between the Hursley software development laboratory (UK) and the North American product development organizations. Facilitated the identification of product (MQSeries Integrator) enhancements/deficiencies. Evaluated, prioritized and presented requests to the product development staff for disposition. Generate and manage a project plan supporting delivery of the approved requested enhancements. Completed the full IBM Project Management curriculum.
Sr. Application Development Manager 1997 - 1999
Managed the development of a commercial shipment tracking, supply chain management solution utilizing the X.12 and EDIFACT standards. Staff included IBM and contract employees both local and remote. Role included management of supporting projects, process implementation, product support as well as full budgetary responsibility. Focus of the group was solution integration with specific attention to the logistics discipline. Completed IBM Project Management certification training.
IT Consultant/Project Manager 1996 - 1997
Project Manager of a software conversion/implementation project for AMTRAK. I utilized IBM’s Worldwide Solutions Development and Deployment Methodology (WSDDM). Project scope was conversion of a legacy passenger reservation application to Visual Basic. Additional responsibilities included client management, technical consulting, resource management, and solution development/implementation.

Project Director, Customer Integration - Direct management of a support function utilizing my development/consulting background and EDI product knowledge to create and identify cost-effective shipment tracking solutions.
