We are looking for an experienced Communication and Change Management Consultant to join our team, supporting clients through open enrollment, benefits and compensation initiatives, policy and process changes, system implementations, and other major organizational transformations.
This is a hybrid role based in Chicago, offering an exciting opportunity for a strategic, detail-oriented professional who thrives on helping organizations navigate change with clarity and confidence.

As part of the team, you will:
Design and implement communication and change management strategies that drive awareness, understanding, and adoption of change. Develop communication plans for open enrollment, benefits, compensation, policy updates, and technology or organizational transitions. Conduct audience analysis, stakeholder mapping, and change impact assessments to shape messaging and delivery. Lead editorial reviews and coordinate content across compliance, technical, client, and vendor stakeholders. Manage project plans, budgets, timelines, and client meetings from start to finish. Partner directly with clients to identify risks, gaps, and barriers to successful adoption. Guide writers, designers, and analysts to deliver high-quality communication work.

What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in English, Business, Communication, Journalism, HR, or a related field. Minimum 7 years of experience in corporate communications and/or change management (HR, compensation, benefits, retirement, policy, organizational change) — or 5+ years of HR/communication consulting experience in a professional services firm. Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including editing, proofreading, and persuasive writing. Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines. Strong command of MS Word and PowerPoint. Experience in a consulting or professional services environment is a strong plus.
