We are seeking a culinary leader with a proven track record of excellence in dynamic, full-service environments. This is a premier opportunity to take the helm of a significant culinary operation, leading a dedicated team and contributing to a brand known for its exceptional guest experiences.
Our client's establishment is a pillar of the Arlington community, boasting annual food and beverage sales exceeding $5 million. The successful candidate will be a strategic partner to the General Manager, responsible for upholding rigorous brand standards, driving culinary innovation, and achieving key financial metrics.
Key Responsibilities
Direct and oversee all culinary operations, including a bustling restaurant, bar, and a significant events/banquet program.
Lead, mentor, and manage a culinary team of 20-30 employees, including subordinate sous chefs, fostering a culture of high performance and professional development.
Develop menus, manage inventory, control costs, and ensure consistent, high-quality execution across all food outlets.
Collaborate closely with the General Manager to align culinary strategy with overall business objectives and financial targets.
Ensure unwavering compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
Maintain a strong presence on the floor, engaging with guests and staff to ensure an unparalleled dining experience.
Qualifications & Experience
Demonstrated experience as an Executive Chef or Executive Sous Chef in a high-volume ($5M+ annual F&B sales) full-service restaurant and bar environment.
A stable work history showcasing progressive career advancement and tenure in previous roles.
Proven expertise in managing both à la carte and banquet/events culinary operations.
Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, P&L management, and labor control.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
A deep passion for culinary excellence and a commitment to continuous improvement.
