We are looking for passionate and energetic individuals to join our team as part-time Childcare Assistants for our Preschool Classroom for the 2025-2026 school year.

LOCATION: Our Early Learning Cener at 565 Union Avenue in New Windsor, NY

PAY: $15.50 per hour

JOB STATUS: Part-time, non-exempt

HOURS: 6:30 am - 6:30 pm

JOB OVERVIEW:

Partnering with the Lead Teacher to implement engaging, hands-on experiences based on the Creative Curriculum and tailored to each child’s unique needs and interests.

Keeping consistent communication with families via the Playground App to ensure transparency and involvement in each child’s daily learning and growth.

Building strong, nurturing adult-child relationships using the CLASS framework, creating a space where every child feels supported and respected.

Promoting the education, health, safety, and overall well-being of the children and classroom community by following ECERS/ITERS standards and procedures.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

You’re 18+ and have a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Got a year of experience with kids under 13? Awesome—but it’s not required. We value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn!

You’ve got medical clearance to perform all job functions and are free of communicable illnesses, including TB.

You bring a warm, positive energy and strong interpersonal skills—whether interacting with little ones, families, or coworkers. You’re also punctual, professional, and dependable.

You’re physically ready to move, lift (up to 50 lbs), bend, and keep up with active children throughout the day!
