Develop and refine mechanical design concepts by analyzing component relationships, functional requirements, and spatial constraints. Design and model module brackets and attachment mechanisms for electrical components, ensuring structural integrity and manufacturability. Conduct feasibility studies and perform CAE-based validation to optimize weight and cost efficiency. Research and evaluate preliminary and conceptual designs to enhance vehicle performance, mass reduction, and fuel efficiency. Oversee product development processes, implementing design failure mode and effects analysis to improve cost and quality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of automotive components from initial concept through full production. May need to work in other locations as required.
Requirement: Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related.
