Compliance Analyst – Driving Wage & Hour Compliance Through Data and Insight!

The Compliance Analyst plays a pivotal role in ensuring organizational adherence to wage and hour regulations, supporting fair and lawful employment practices across all branches—with a particular focus on California. This role combines deep knowledge of labor laws with strong analytical, communication, and project management skills to drive compliance excellence. By leveraging data analysis, operational insights, and process improvements, the Compliance Analyst supports the development and execution of the company’s wage and hour compliance program. Key responsibilities include monitoring compliance with federal, state, and municipal employment laws; managing employee licensing and personnel file requirements; ensuring adherence to collective bargaining agreements and site-specific contracts; and overseeing sick pay and leave administration. The ultimate goal is to support branches in achieving 100% compliance while contributing to broader companywide compliance initiatives.

Work Site Location: Dallas, TX

Set Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This position may require long hours and working past 5:00 p.m. to support the West Coast branches.

Collect, extract, and analyze data to power legal and compliance decisions.

Assist with company-wide risk assessments and support the institution of policies and processes for risk mitigation.

Create Compliance monitoring dashboards and monitor risks.

Develop, implement, and automate business and reporting solutions by working with stakeholders in their design, planning, and implementation while ensuring consistency and accuracy; evaluating and summarizing data and results; creating summary statistics; developing data reports, visualizations, and/or interactive Business Intelligence (BI) reports.

Contribute to and manage projects that drive technological and process improvements to enhance operational workflows, and project and information management.

Reporting to stakeholders on key findings, identifying needs for the development and implementation of additional reporting solutions, and preparing documentation as appropriate.

Review WinTeam by Branch/Region to design and generate reports connected with wage & hour compliance, analyze reports and chart out roadmaps & monitor for incremental improvement.

Identify opportunities and methods to improve efficiencies with analysis; supporting and training end users; and documenting processes and deliverables.

Research regulations by reviewing regulatory bulletins and other sources of information. Assist HR team and branches in identifying changes to applicable employment laws by state/ municipality.

Reviewing and assisting with compiling data in support of legal claims.

Schedule, coordinate and conduct internal reviews/audits as assigned. Prepare audit reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.

Assist branches in creating action plans based on audit results. Follow up with the status of action itemsYour Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in human resources/business management or related field.

A minimum of 4 years’ administration in a staffing environment.

Microsoft Office Suite proficiency

Professional certifications in HR or compliance may be preferred.

Authorized to work in the United States

Knowledge of federal, state, and local wage and hour laws, with the ability to apply to specific situations

Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, Outlook). Knowledge of Power BI is preferred.

Passion to live and impart the core values of GardaWorld

A working knowledge of payroll and timekeeping systems is a plus.

Ability to travel up to 33% of the time.
