Job Description
One of LHH’s thriving clients in Columbus, OH is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive B2B Collections Specialist to manage and resolve outstanding accounts receivable from commercial clients. This role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills, a customer service mindset, and a proven track record in corporate collections. This is a contract opening and is available to start quickly!
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a portfolio of B2B accounts and ensure timely collection of outstanding balances.
Communicate with clients via phone and email to resolve payment issues and discrepancies.
Investigate and reconcile account disputes and short payments.
Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., Sales, Billing, Customer Service) to resolve client concerns.
Maintain accurate records of collection activities in the system.
Prepare aging reports and escalate delinquent accounts as needed.
Support month-end close processes related to accounts receivable.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in B2B collections or accounts receivable.
Strong understanding of commercial credit and collections practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Skills:
Experience iworking with a large portfolio of customer accounts
Familiarity with dispute resolution and deduction management.
Knowledge of industry-specific billing systems or portals.
Pay Details: $23.00 to $28.00 per hour
