Controls Engineer – Pulp & Paper Industry
Salary up to $140,000 + Bonus and Excellent Benefits and Relocation Packages to Maine
If you’re looking for an exciting organization, this may be the job for you. You must have a Bachelor of Science degree (BSEE or acceptable equivalent) from an accredited college with an internship OR 1 to 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with Honeywell DCS systems or Delta V.
Your general duties as this Process Control Engineer include DCS/PLC/Control systems project management from concept, scope development, justification, appropriation request write-up, vendor / contractor selection, coordination with all departments, safety compliance, installation, start-up, commissioning, project closure, through final audit.
Additional duties include supporting manufacturing, converting, safety, and engineering departments in troubleshooting, long-range planning, day-to-day operations issues, and process control optimization.
This Process Control Engineer Candidate can sell new concepts and ideas to others with various technical backgrounds and works well in a team environment. You’ll need a working knowledge of NEC and related codes.
You’ll need to be familiar with the following computer systems or software:
• Honeywell DCS, Experion, and/or Delta V
• Rockwell (AB) PLC and Ladder Logic
• MicroSoft Project, Excel, Word, and Power Point, SAP
Minimum requirements for this Controls Engineering:
• Bachelor of Science degree such as Electrical, Systems Engineering
• At least an internship or at least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing plant
• Experience with Honeywell DCS or Delta V systems
• Must have working knowledge of NEC and related codes.
