Job Description
Purpose:
A Funds Processor maintains the organization of Title IV funding as required by the Department of Education for The Los Angeles Film School. This is an in-person, on-campus position.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities (those that must be performed with or without an ADA Accommodation):
Works independently and provides regular status updates to management regarding the movement of Title IV funding
Transmits and imports SAIG responses from EdConnect
Communicate multiple reporting records (MRR) to other Financial Aid departments, as well as other institutions to ensure they are handled within the Federal compliance guidelines
Assists with the satisfactory academic progress reporting
Weekly student stipend reviews
Processes active student refunds
Maintaining compliance with federal regulations, following institutional policies and procedures, and ability to interact with integrity and professionalism

· Perform other job-related duties and special projects as assigned
Other Responsibilities:
· Adhere to policies and procedures of The Los Angeles Film School
· Maintain strict confidentiality of company and personnel information
· Adhere to company attendance standards

· Excellent analytical skills
· Excellent verbal and communication skills
· Detail oriented; accuracy of utmost importance
· COD experience, a plus
· Strong working knowledge of Department of Education rules and regulations
Education Experience:
· 2 years of experience working in financial aid
· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is highly recommended, but not required
Certificates Licenses Registrations:
· None
Computer Skills:
· Strong proficiency with PC and Mac (MS Word, Outlook, Excel).
· Preferably experience working in CampusVue and Anthology database

Reliable high speed Internet connection
Physical Demands (are those that are required and performed with or without an accommodation):
· Ability to sit/work at a desk for a majority of the workday
