Senior Building Inspector – Construction

Douglas, AZ $55–$59/hr Temp-to-Perm

We’re hiring a Senior Building Inspector to oversee quality assurance and compliance for large-scale building and renovation projects (valued at $10M+). This is a temp-to-perm role based onsite in Douglas, AZ.

️ Responsibilities:

Perform daily field inspections during active construction

Review workmanship, materials, and adherence to construction documents

Ensure contractor compliance with safety and quality plans

Document inspections, take daily site photos, and log deficiencies

Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and client teams to resolve issues

Maintain progress and final inspection reports, including status updates and corrections

Monitor schedules and notify project managers of delays or risks

Support inspections with Fire/Life Safety and environmental testing teams

Requirements:

10+ years of experience in building construction or renovation

5+ years in quality assurance/control

Experience with $10M+ construction projects

Background in mechanical and electrical systems

Familiar with safety regulations, inspection testing, and PMCS software

Strong written/verbal communication and reporting skills

Comfortable using ladders and accessing all building area
