Job Summary: This position supervises the organization and daily operations pertaining to warehouse assignments and provides direction to subordinates guided by established policies and practices. Work is reviewed for soundness of judgement and overall quality and efficiency. Interprets and executes policies that affect warehouse staff. Monitors warehouse operations on a daily basis and actively assists or provides direction to warehouse staff as needed.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Supervision of Warehouse staff (Material Handlers)
Ensures the accurate receipt of all arriving goods
Compile and issue required reports including inventory, dead stock, goods age, consumption
Monitor quantity and quality of commodities stored
Carry out regular physical random warehouse checks of commodities and inventory
Maintain housekeeping of warehouse and surrounding area
Assess the availability of space and prepare stacking/storage plans prior to commodities arrival
Work closely with Director, Warehouse Operations to assure materials are received and inventoried in a timely, orderly and cost effective manner
Supervise the Shipping and Receiving department to ensure timely and accurate delivery and receipt of materials/product and accurate completion of Bill of Ladings and sign off of packing lists
Communicate proactively with the Director, Manufacturing and Director, Warehouse Operations on materials issues that may impact the Facilities’ ability to meet shipping schedules
Establish proper stock levels to meet desired customer service needs and company policies
Supervise transactions related to materials availability and open order accuracy
Work with Quality Engineer to ensure and maintain compliance with safety, operational, and regulatory standards of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management (EMS), and Occupational Health & Safety Association (OHSA)
Responsible for quality as related to job duties, and has the authority to address issues of quality at any level

Job Requirements:
High School graduate or GED; and/or minimum three years of experience in assembly and manufacturing operations
Must have demonstrated leadership skills through experience
Ability to train and work well with others
Excellent communication skills
SAP knowledge is a must
Physical Demands:
The employee if frequently required to stand; use hands to operate basic tools, keyboards or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear
The employee is occasionally required to walk frequently, sit; and may also be required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
