We are looking for an experienced Division Controller to join a leading grain distribution company in Arthur, North Dakota. This role offers the opportunity to oversee key financial operations, contribute to strategic decision-making, and lead a team in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in full-cycle accounting, supply chain logistics, and inventory management.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage all accounting operations, ensuring compliance with US GAAP standards.
• Lead financial planning and analysis activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Supervise and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
• Ensure accurate inventory management and reporting, working closely with supply chain teams.
• Collaborate with operations to optimize financial performance across the grain distribution network.
• Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Provide insights and recommendations to support strategic business decisions.
• Utilize Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
• Monitor and analyze key financial metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support company-wide initiatives and goals.• Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting, finance, or related roles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and other Dynamics platforms.
• Strong understanding of full-cycle accounting and US GAAP standards.
• Experience in supply chain logistics and inventory management.
• Proven track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Background in the distribution or grain industry is highly preferred.
