Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7 am - 3:30 pm clinic/OR & 24-hour call - Preferred

Weekend & On Call Requirements

Locum to Perm - Preferred

Clinical Details:

Practice Setting: Office/Hospital/OR/Rounding

Call Schedule: After office hours and weekends

Number of Operating Rooms: 1

Documentation System/EMR: Epic

Patient Age Demographic: Adult 18+

Scope of Services Required: Adult Cardiac Surgery, General Thoracic Surgery

Required Procedures:

Aortic Surgery: Descending Aortic Aneurysms

Coronary Artery Bypass: CABG, Redo Coronary Revascularization(With or Without Heart Valve Surgery), Arterial Revascularization(Using Internal Mammary Arteries, Radial Artery and Gastroepiploic Artery), Pericardial Window, Tube Thoracostomy, Thoracic aortic aneurysms

Thoracic Endoscopy: Flexible and Rigid Bronchoscopy, Thoracotomy Lung Resections and Pneumonectomy, Chest Wall Resection and Reconstruction, Mediastinal Surgery

Vascular Surgery: Heart Valve Repair/Replacement Surgery, Heart Valve Replacement Without Surgery (CoreValve System), Mitral Valve Repair

Requirements:

Board Certification (American Board of Thoracic Surgery)

Active VA license & DEA

BLS/ACLS

Fellowship Training

Case Logs
