Brittany Bui with Robert Half is looking for a dedicated Assistant Controller to join our team in Forest Grove, Oregon. This role is ideal for an experienced and detail-oriented individual who thrives on managing financial operations and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. As a key contributor, you will oversee critical aspects of financial reporting, reconciliations, and process improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee month-end close activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial statements.

• Prepare and analyze detailed financial reports to support decision-making processes.

• Manage complex bank reconciliations and maintain accurate records of financial transactions.

• Monitor and maintain fixed asset schedules, ensuring proper accounting and reporting.

• Coordinate and prepare for audits, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

• Provide guidance and leadership to accounting staff, fostering a culture of excellence.

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

• Oversee accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing.

• Ensure adherence to compliance standards and internal control procedures.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support organizational goals and initiatives.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial management.

• Proven expertise in financial reporting, auditing, and compliance.

• Strong knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.

• Demonstrated ability to perform complex bank reconciliations and manage fixed assets.

• Experience with month-end close processes and preparing financial statements.

• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and mentor a team.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on process improvement.

• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
