Job Description:
Conduct diagnostic evaluations for children suspected of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
Analyze assessment data, deliver diagnoses, and recommend treatment plans.
Write thorough, high-quality psychological evaluation reports.
Submit completed reports within 7 days of assessment.
Provide post-evaluation feedback to families when appropriate.
Serve as a Licensed Qualified Autism Service Provider (LQASP) under NC Medicaid guidelines.
Participate in administrative, quality improvement, and compliance initiatives.
Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA standards.
Requirements:
Master's degree or higher in Clinical Psychology or related field.
Active NC licensure as a Licensed Psychologist (LP) or Licensed Psychological Associate (LPA).
Experience conducting psychological assessments, especially for ASD and neurodevelopmental disorders.
Skilled in using assessment tools like ADOS-2, ADI-R, CARS, DISCO, or similar.
Strong clinical writing, analytical, and communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Willingness to travel to assessment sites as required.
Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
Energetic, adaptable, and motivated to support AutismCOE’s mission.
