Process Engineer – Paper Industry
Salary $85,000 - $105,000 + Bonus & Benefits & Paid Relocation to New York
An established leader in the paper manufacturing industry is seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer with a strong technical background and experience optimizing production processes. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where continuous improvement and operational excellence are valued.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead process optimization initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and overall production effectiveness.
• Coordinate and oversee product trials, working closely with chemical suppliers to ensure optimal material integration.
• Monitor and analyze quality data, troubleshooting issues and implementing corrective actions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations teams to develop and refine manufacturing strategies.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations while driving innovation in production techniques.
Minimum requirements for this Process Engineer / Chemical Engineer position:
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Paper Sciences, or a closely related field.
• Extensive knowledge of the paper manufacturing industry, including processes, equipment, and materials.
• Proven experience in process optimization, quality control, and troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Exceptional communication and leadership abilities, capable of working effectively in a team-driven environment.
