### POSITION OVERVIEW

Voice Up Publishing Inc. is seeking a dynamic and purpose-driven Assistant Director of Sports Integration to create powerful connections between the athletic community and our annual Global Stories of Purpose Conference hosted at Oklahoma Wildcats Academy. This innovative role will bridge the worlds of sports, purpose development, and storytelling by identifying and amplifying compelling narratives from athletes, coaches, and sports organizations that demonstrate the transformative impact of purpose discovery.

Reporting to the National Sports Leadership Director, this position will play a crucial role in ensuring athletic voices are prominently featured at the Global Make the Difference Conference, while simultaneously extending conference insights and methodologies back into sports communities nationwide. The ideal candidate will be an exceptional relationship-builder with a passion for helping athletes articulate their purpose journey and share their stories in ways that inspire positive change.

### KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Conference Program Development

- **Sports Content Curation:** Identify and recruit athletes, coaches, and sports leaders with compelling purpose stories to present at the annual Global Stories of Purpose Conference.

- **Narrative Development:** Work directly with athletic presenters to help them structure and articulate their purpose journeys in ways that resonate with diverse audiences.

- **Panel Organization:** Design and coordinate sports-focused panel discussions and workshops that highlight the connection between athletics and purpose.

- **Interactive Experiences:** Create conference experiences that allow participants to physically engage with purpose concepts through sports-based activities and demonstrations.

Sports Community Engagement

- **Ambassador Network:** Build and nurture a national network of sports professionals who serve as ambassadors for the Global Make the Difference Conference within their athletic communities.

- **Year-Round Engagement:** Develop ongoing programming that keeps the sports community connected to conference themes and conversations between annual events.

- **Regional Events:** Organize pre-conference regional gatherings that introduce the Purpose Metric and storytelling methodologies to local sports communities.

- **Athlete Storytelling Workshops:** Conduct workshops that equip athletes with skills to effectively communicate their purpose journeys through various media platforms.

Publication Integration

- **Sports Content Coordination:** Collaborate with the editorial team of Make The Difference publication to ensure robust sports representation across all sections.

- **Contributor Recruitment:** Identify and support athletes, coaches, and sports professionals in developing written contributions for the quarterly publication.

- **Special Editions:** Coordinate annual sports-focused special editions that highlight purpose-driven narratives from across the athletic spectrum.

- **Digital Content Strategy:** Develop multimedia content that extends conference presentations through digital channels, reaching broader audiences.

Purpose Metric Integration

- **Story Collection:** Gather powerful narratives from athletes and coaches using the Purpose Metric that demonstrate its impact on performance and wellbeing.

- **Conference Showcases:** Create compelling presentations that visualize Purpose Metric data through storytelling approaches accessible to diverse audiences.

- **Feedback Integration:** Collect insights from conference participants to continually enhance the sports applications of the Purpose Metric.

- **Collaborative Research:** Work with Voice Up's Research Division to highlight emerging findings at the conference and in follow-up publications.

### QUALIFICATIONS

Experience & Background

- **Sports Connection:** Minimum 5+ years experience in athletics, sports administration, coaching, sports journalism, or related fields.

- **Event Management:** Demonstrated experience organizing impactful events, workshops, or conferences that effectively engage targeted communities.

- **Content Development:** Track record of helping individuals shape and share their personal narratives through various platforms.

- **Program Implementation:** Experience successfully implementing programs that connect different sectors or communities around shared goals.

Skills & Knowledge

- **Narrative Expertise:** Outstanding ability to identify compelling stories and help individuals articulate their experiences in meaningful ways.
