Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Start Date: As soon as possible

Wage: $22.00 – $25.00 per hour (based on experience and qualifications). Overtime rate of 1.5x applied after 48 hours worked.

Hours: 40–45 hours per week

Job Description:

The EMPLOYEE agrees to carry out the following tasks as Restaurant Assistant Manager. The EMPLOYEE agrees to devote 100% of working time, attention and ability to the EMPLOYER and to comply with and be bound by all the company’s policies, employee’s professional code of conduct and ethics, rules and/or procedures and carry out duties and responsibility as per described in the Job Description in the Company training manual; to carry out employees of the Company in competent, harmonious and professional manner. The duties of our Restaurant Assistant Manager are as follows;

Support and supervise team members during shifts.

Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback.

Help with staff scheduling and shift planning.

Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained.

Resolve customer complaints quickly and professionally.

Lead by example in providing friendly, efficient service.

Oversee store opening and closing procedures.

Monitor food preparation and presentation for quality and consistency.

Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety standards.

Monitor inventory levels and conduct stock counts.

Place orders for supplies and products as needed.

Prevent waste and manage product rotation.

Handle cash management, deposits, and reconciliation.

Ensure accurate balancing of tills and safe handling of funds.

Assist with payroll and labor cost control.

Help achieve store sales targets and KPIs.

Motivate the team to meet productivity and customer service goals.

Support the implementation of promotions and new product launches.

Enforce company policies and procedures.

Ensure compliance with local health, safety, and labor regulations.

Requirements:

Experience in the food and beverage industry in a supervisory role or higher is required

Strong leadership and organizational skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Effective communication and interpersonal skills

No minimum education required

Language Requirement:

English required (minimum CLB 5)
