On call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Required to carry a cellular phone as assigned. Required to work occasional overtime as assigned.

Job Overview:

The Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM) is seeking an IT professional familiar with data conversations via electronic data interchange (EDI). As part of ODM’s effort to modernize the Ohio Medicaid Enterprise System (OMES), the agency has streamlined its transaction process flow. Trading partners facilitating electronic claims reimbursement for Ohio Medicaid providers now exchange all transactions through a single connection which is then distributed across multiple systems. As an EDI Analyst, your responsibilities will include:

assisting in the operations and maintenance of a best-in-class data validation, conversion, and reporting solution to support the OMES

providing technical advice and direction to external helpdesk support on data integrity issues

reviewing existing summary reports of data flow

generating new reports on the contents of singular files using basic scripting language of choice (e.g., basic Excel, Tableau)
