Live product & early traction: Early adopters are paying for deep analytics and insights into their portfolio.

Fast iteration: Many projects in the pipeline from automated trading and portfolio mapping to game design and investor mbti.

AI company: If AI can help do it, we use it. Reduce entire verticals with an AI-agent workflow to keep overhead low.

Small team, huge surface area: The team is lean. We want to maximally utilize AI's capabilities and only hire the best.

Stage of the Business: Design and Scale

We're ready to scale from MVP to polished, viral product. As our first engineering hire, you will own the end-to-end user experience with the agency to create the designs and workflows that you would want to use. Create algorithms and use AI/ML to make a viral product.

Your Role at Omen

Own UI/UX: Translate Figma/Framer concepts into performant React/Next.js components and rich data visualizations.

Ship features fast: Implement new portfolio analytics, risk-profile games, portfolio matching algorithms, and onboarding flows.

Shape architecture: Help evolve our event-driven microservices, testing, CI/CD, and observability stack.

Data-driven decision making: Integrate E2E LLM endpoints and market-data pipelines into front-end experiences.

Requirements

Coding : React/Next, Node/Go/Python, AWS

UI/UX work history : ideally dashboards or data-heavy apps.

Baseline market knowledge: you can explain ETFs vs. stocks, read a stock chart, and have basic understandings of fundamental analysis.

Startup mindset: bias to action, comfort with ambiguity, and obsession with user experience.

Product intuition: you think in experiments, KPIs, and viral loops, not just tickets.

Preferred

Experience with Tailwind, shadcn/ui, or Framer Motion.

Familiarity with Alpaca Markets Broker API

Prior work on LLM, fine-tuning, RAG
