Your day as a Controller

As a Controller, you will be an integral part of our finance team, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations. You will take on diverse responsibilities ranging from payroll management to financial statement preparation and regulatory compliance. Your attention to detail and strong analytical skills will be tested as you conduct general ledger accounting activities and contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes. By overseeing accounts payable and receivable functions and implementing internal controls, you will be critical in driving our financial success.

What we're looking for in a Controller

To excel as a Controller, candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with a CPA designation. Expertise with Paycom is essential for managing payroll operations effectively. The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in corporate accounting or a related field, along with a solid understanding of IFRS and accounting principles. Proficiency in general ledger accounting, double-entry bookkeeping, and accounts payable/receivable processes is crucial for success in this role. Strong analytical skills, keen attention to detail, exceptional organizational abilities, and mastery of Microsoft Excel and accounting software systems are also key requirements. The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting is essential for driving financial success.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA designation is a plus)

Paycom expertise a must

Proven experience in corporate accounting or related field

Strong knowledge of IFRS and other accounting principles

Proficiency in general ledger accounting and double-entry bookkeeping

Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes

Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail

Strong organizational and time management abilities

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software systems

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
