The Opportunity: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Controller to join our client's dynamic finance team. Reporting to the Controller, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of their financial records, enhancing their accounting processes, and supporting the overall financial health of the company during a period of exciting growth. What You'll Do:

Manage and oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.

Prepare and review complex journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.

Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and other regulatory requirements.

Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including the balance sheet, income statement, and statement of cash flows.

Develop and implement efficient accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to optimize financial operations.

Collaborate with various departments to ensure proper accounting treatment of business transactions.

Assist with external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.

Participate in the implementation and optimization of financial systems and tools.

Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.

Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff (if applicable).

Undertake special projects and ad-hoc analysis as required. What You Bring:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

CPA designation preferred.

7+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a tech company or a fast-paced growth environment.

Strong technical accounting knowledge (GAAP) and experience with complex accounting issues.

Proficiency with large ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Workday Financials) and advanced Excel skills.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with all levels of the organization.

Experience with financial reporting, consolidations, and intercompany transactions.
