Job Description

The Toolmaker will play a key role in repairing and maintaining tools, as well as building new tools and components for machines. We prioritize safety and strive to create an environment for growth and innovation.

Responsibilities

Perform repairs to mold tools, including the mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems of the mold.

Build new tool components and mechanical machine components.

Make modifications to mold tools and mechanical machine components.

Complete preventative maintenance work on mold tools, encompassing the mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems of the mold.

Perform repairs to mechanical machine components.Essential Skills

Tool and die expertise

CNC machining proficiency

Experience in troubleshooting and repairing tools

1+ year of injection molding experience or other machining experience

Experience utilizing hand and power tools in a manufacturing environmentAdditional Skills & Qualifications

4-year Journeyman Toolmaker qualification

2+ years of experience working in a tool shop

Experience attending to mold breakdowns to identify root causes and solve problems

Experience setting up and operating lathes, mills, surface grinders, and other manufacturing machinery

Experience using precision measurement instruments such as micrometers, gauges, and dial calipers to check tooling components dimensions

Strong welding/fabrication skills, including Tig WeldingWhy Work Here?

Work Environment

The role is set in a tooling shop within a plastics environment. The position offers three shifts: 1st shift from 5:45AM to 2PM, 2nd shift from 1:45PM to 10PM, and 3rd shift from 9:45PM to 6AM. Openings are available on the 2nd and 3rd shifts.

***Starting $29-$36/hr based on experience in Evansville, IN Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $74880.00/yr.
